

BIOGRAPHY

Elise Walters is a multifaceted interdisciplinary artist who blends her talents as a singer, pianist, dancer, choreographer, and actor. A versatile performer, she has appeared in opera, musical theatre, and immersive theatre productions across the country.
Most recently, Elise portrayed Gretel in Hansel and Gretel for Opera Modesto’s education tour. She also sang the title role in Sancta Susanna with Source Filter Music Collective and will portray Charlie in Mighty Casey with Lyric Opera of Orange County. Other notable credits include Ugly Duckling (Duckling) with Storybook Theatre, where she also choreographed the production, and performances with Opera San Luis Obispo, the Lompoc Pops Orchestra, and Opera Buffs.
A dedicated arts educator and advocate, Elise serves on multiple non-profit boards supporting arts education and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a long-time member and board member of Theatre West, where she helps lead their arts education initiatives.
Elise holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Dance/Theatre from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College.
